Pathangayam Water Falls, also known as Narangathod is a local unwinding destination located in Kodanchery village, Kozhikode. Many people come here to swim and dive. Localites state that most of the water accidents reported in the area were caused by hidden caves and whirlpools which cannot be spotted from land. It is commonly observed that people who enter the water to swim often slip and fall into these caves or get trapped in the whirlpools. There are plenty of small and big caves present in the river.
